The Residential Education team is looking to hire Resident Assistants (RAs) and Programming Assistants (PAs) for the 2019-2020 academic year! Please read the information below thoroughly to have a full understanding of the RA/PA job responsibilities and the RA/PA application process.
RAs and PAs are student members of the Residential Education staff, and are under direct supervision of the Director of Residential Education and their respective Community Director. RA/PA responsibilities include peer helping, residence hall openings and closings, programming, policy enforcement, providing resources, and the day to day community building needed in the residence halls.
The RA/PA application will close on Monday, February 18th at 5:00PM. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered. In order to be considered for this position, you need:
- a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 [which also needs to be maintained throughout the period of employment if hired],
- to have lived on-campus for at least one  semester, AND
- demonstrated leadership skills that speak to your ability to be an effective RA/PA.
Applicants will need to attend a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, February 19th at 9PM in the Ponder Hall Multipurpose Room (011).
