Citizenship Education

UNC Asheville takes pride in a commitment to learning, creativity, diversity, engaged citizenship, equity, trust and integrity. Students, as integral members of the UNC Asheville community, should conduct themselves in a manner that consistently represents the university in a positive light. To that end, responsible citizenship includes an expectation that members actively participate in behavior that complements and upholds the values and mission of UNC Asheville. Members of the university community are expected to engage in conduct that contributes to the culture of integrity and honor upon which UNC Asheville is grounded. UNC Asheville’s Student Code of Community Standards outlines the behavioral expectations of UNC Asheville students, as well as our Citizenship Education Process.
